Job description:

Cozy bike shop in nice neighborhood adjacent to D.C. is now accepting applications for mechanic/sales position. We are looking for a talented individual interested in an opportunity to work directly with the store owner repairing and selling bicycles and accessories in our rapidly growing location. Applicant must possess respect for and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and other employees; be customer service driven and be able and willing to communicate to them at their level; willing to work evenings and weekends; MUST have bike shop experience; be able to perform all aspects of bicycle repair and assembly; evaluate and troubleshoot all types of bikes brought in for service, and write repair estimates; maintain a neat and organized work space; provide maintenance & repair advice and/or education to customers; be able to stay calm and professional when working under pressure and with distractions; be dynamic, enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, and passionate about cycling as well as maintaining our high standard of excellent, helpful, and friendly customer service.
